Hooray for the DeSmogBlog... because it has afforded me the opportunity to try out another desktop blogging editor. I have used Qumana in the past, and was happy enough with it myself, but wanted something even more usable for the total non-geeks on the DeSmog team. So we're giving Ecto a whirl. Here's hoping.

(Looks like it has not imported all my tags... too bad. That would have been most excellent.)

How about images? Let me see... it does iPhoto importing. What about Flickr, though? Or other images hosted elsewhere online?

Guess I'll have to poke around a bit more. Anyone else got experience with this?

i do! i do!

It's what I use.. but haven't figured out the flickr integration thingy yet, I just post from Flickr. Apparently you can set it up to post to multiple blogs but I haven't used that yet either!

About this Site

A hodge-podge of random thoughts, musings, and links – sometimes about social change, sometimes about technology and the web, sometimes about yoga, and occasionally about knitting. Sometimes (because I'm a Canadian girl with deep roots in the British Isles) I even write about the weather.

I'm a yoga teacher, founder of Yoga for Geeks, and a freelance web writer, strategist, and project manager. I also help to co-create the amazing Web of Change Conference, every September in beautiful British Columbia.
